Chinese New Year Workshop

      On 18^th January 2017, our school held a special workshop to celebrate Chinese New Year. P.1 students and parents were invited to participate in a variety of activities including making red packet crafts, writing Chinese couplets as well preparing and cooking Chinese sweet dumplings. The purpose of this activity was to enrich children’s knowledge of the Chinese culture and share festivities with each other. This was a great opportunity for teachers, Non-Chinese Speaking students and parents to work together and embrace an important Chinese celebration. It was an educational and enjoyable time for all involved to bring in a happy and prosperous Year of the Rooster!
